The A/D numbers that come out when the market closes are only preliminary.
The "real" numbers come out several hours later. If you check the Wall Street
Journal or Investor's Business Daily, any other newspaper, you will see that
they will always agree, but that their numbers are the "final" numbers and not
the preliminary numbers that the data vendors show. I always use the final
numbers and I enter them manually each day. I've been doing it this way for
15 years. I think these final numbers come from the Associated Press.
