1st CDROM, shipped in Dec., contained an .ela file of size 36K, or about 3%
of the space on a DISKETTE or about .06% the capacity of a CDROM. The
remaining approximately 99.94% of the CDROM was empty. Printed
documentation was shipped with the CDROM. Included in the .ela file were 7
or so systems such as 2 moving averages crossing which can be optimized to
appear to give effective results on past trade data. There was no
information on trading the systems in the real world (for obvious reasons.)
To Omega's credit, there were a couple of ELA programming techniques I
haven't seen before.
I do think it's a good idea for Omega to actually try to use their own
products. I haven't seen the 2nd CDROM.
