In my case closing and reopening the server does nothing to empty the
PCX file, which after one week is sitting at about 50 megs. I can't
stop the news server from storing the graphics files. The only way to
solve the problem according to Omega, and in my experience, is to close
the server and delete all the PCX files and then restart the server.
Then the PCX files start to accumulate again.
