??"The CODE" hotmail discontinued??

Just received a reply that 'Codes' hotmail address has been discontinued
due to misuse.
Anyone have further information?

I published to the 'list' as there was a great amount of interest in the
recent past--If I
missed some information about this in a previous post---apologies.
