Barry,
I got a call from Advantage Trading. They confirmed that it was a telephone
company snafu, and apologized profusely. I was concerned because I had just
mailed them a check. After talking to them I decided to go ahead with the
account. They told me you called them and relayed my experience to them.
I'm glad they didn't fold their tent in the night, they do seem like
pleasant people to deal with.

That was a local phone company glitch. They are up and running fine. I
had no problems with them today. I have recommended many people to them,
and all new customers have thanked me profusely. I have no relationship
with them other than being a satisfied trader.
I recommend that any trader keep a number handy to the clearing firm order
desk in case of a local problem. In this case the number to LFG is 800
365-9310. They will need the office number as well as your account number.
Advantage Trading office number is 549.
