Can anyone tell me (or e-mail me) where i can get historical data on the
INDU, SP500 and (or) the OEX...as far back as possible...(Opens, Highs,
Lows & closes) i have what was on the Omega disk, but i need more....
You might try Genesis Financial Data. Recently, I bought Tick Data from
"Tick Data Inc." Unfortunately, Tick Data has been sold to Futures
Communications. The people who are now running the operation do not
seem to know what they have and how to correctly format it in ascii.
Needless to say I am upset with them. Tick Data's data will be alright
unless you also want the Globex session. I have been searching in
earnest for a tick data supplier who has the night sessions. If anybody
knows of a supplier who has clean data and has the night session for the
SP500 and US Bond please let me know.
