Pierre, are you saying that Omega has disclosed to you the format
of its proprietary "OMZ" data file? I'm still waiting for an
answer from them as to whether they'll give details on the omz
format, or if TS5 will allow convenient importation of user-
generated data, as can be easily done with TS 3.5.
>>
Not exactly.
I have no clue about that.
My purpose was to speak of the better integration facilities with other
programs.
Comcerning OMZ files I do not think that the specs are all available.
Otherwise, you may know that a server API is available from Omega, allowing to
maipulate (modify) the data stored in the Omega server.
Maybe this could help you.
The API is not free (unlike SC API), less than $200 and needs a non disclosure
agreement.

<<
A truly open program would specify all these vital interfaces
so users could have control over their own data. I can think
of no legitimate reason for not making these specs public.
 That's why I remain with TS 3.5.

Maybe.
I have also no information on the TS5 data storage method .
I suppose that they will change this as it was the case for major upgrades.
