Rod -

I wasn't gonna comment on OptionStation, but I've been feeling my oats
lately, so maybe I can help spare you the pain.

In my humble opinion.....

Save your money. I have a trading friend who ran it for a few weeks and I
had the chance to work with it for about 7 days.

It is cumbersome, and really a pain to use. It really didn't tell us
anything we didn't already know. I mean, I think just by a quick visual
scan of option/future prices you can tell what options are high or low
priced. My friend was so frustrated with it that I really felt bad
recommending he try it in the first place. He sent it back and went with TS
4.0 and is still my friend. <g>

As for the "millions" of options stategies it spits out...well, they're
like systems. There's millions of 'em out there, and most are just a wash
over time. After the ocassional "delta neutral" disasters and brutal
bid-ask spread erosian you are LUCKY to come out even over time.

To summarize:

1) I wouldn't risk my money (or yours) trading with OptionBust
2) I think it has many bugs and is in it's infancy.
3) If ya really feel ya need software like that, check out
OptionVue...they've been at it for 12 years and it works quite well in
comparison.
4) "Smart-bid" is a farce...it is just the last price of the option moved
around for the last future price...not what it appears to be in the ads.
5) Honestly, if it were FREE, I would not use it and it would sit in a
drawer like the pile of software you get with new computers these days.

**** Just to balance things out here....I use TS 4.0 in real time trading
the S&P only - Despite it's limitations for serious programming and various
bugs, etc....I like it very much... and it has been a great tool helping me
make a lot of money as a discretionary trader (no optimized systems here)
...guess that's the bottom line.

Good Luck.
