Not all Pentiums have the floating point calculation problem. It was the
first series of Pentiums. Pentium 75 and above do not have that problem.
The error that was caused in the earlier Pentiums was out to the 11th
decimal place or something like that. So, the main point is later Pentiums
do not have a floating point calculation problem.
AMDs do not have a floating point calculation problem either.
Intel chips are faster when it comes to calculating floating points then AMD
or Cyrix. So for heavy math programs such as CAD or big graphics programs
this will help.
My personal preference is Intel.
