Re: Non-Intel CPU's with TS

I've been experimenting with running TS on a Cyrix 6x86MX 233MhZ (Pentium
Clone) and a main-board with a 75 MhZ Bus, for a couple of weeks without
problems. Much faster that Intel but probably too soon to tell if there are
incompatibilities. I already discovered one non-TS related problem with the
BIOS in trying to use a multi-monitor board -- it doesn't map the PCI bus
devices according to the current PCI 2.1 Standard-- I'm in the process of
trying to correct that.

but when pressed they didn't really seem to know if there are
incompatibilities with the K6 or 6x86MX. I got the impression they were
being overly cautious, as there had been problems with an earlier generation
Cyrix chip. They said they would test everything, but apparently it's not a
priority.
