Windows 98 Beta 3 has been released for retail customers to try and Windows 98 final release is due out in several months.
Following is my e-mail to Omega Research Tech Support and their response on whether TradeStation V 4.0 has been tested on Windows 98 and how TradeStation V 5.0 will handle the Multiple Monitors supported in Windows 98. For TradeStation V 5.0 to support Multiple Monitors will require some additional programming as I understand it. (Perhaps others with more knowledge of Windows 98 can explain this better.)

With the release of Windows 98 reportedly only a few months away, how will
TradeStation V 5.0 handle the Multiple Monitor feature of Windows 98? I
would like to be able to have view a different Worksheet on each Monitor.
Is TradeStation V4.0 compatible with Windows98, Multiple Monitor and FAT32?

Dear Chris,
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we are unable to answer the majority
of your questions at this time. If you would like, you may resend your e-mail at
a later date and we should be able to answer you more completely.
However, if Windows 98 is a true 32 bit Operating System, then TradeStation
4.0(a 16 bit application) will not run on it. We are anticipating the release of
TradeStation 5.0(a 32 bit application) sometime in the first half of this year.
Thank you,
Richard S.
