The LCD monitor is at an advantage, not a disadvantage.  The 15 inch LCD
shows as much image as a 17 inch regular monitor, so it is even lighter and
smaller than the lack of electronics and space would normally allow.  The
regular montor measures the tube size not the image size.  This is pure
marketing BS and always has been.  Measure the image.

Plus the better LCD's give breathtaking images, high resolution, great
color.  So you can put a 17 inch LCD near the back of your desktop, enjoy
almost 20 inch image size, extraordinary resolution and color, and decrease
the release of heat into your office.   Wish I could afford it.  Shortly, I
hope.
