Mark,

Dumping in Asci format:
Some of what you want is done right now in Option Simulator. From the Quote
View menu select Setup | Update Background Db. In the Save Daily group
select "Use defined assets" and press the Update Now button.

The program will save to Asci files all underlying and option data. The
data is saved to the directory DailyData in three files: one for stocks
named StockMMDD.txt, one for indexes labeled IndexMMDD.txt and one for
futures named FutureMMDD.txt. MMDD are month and day for the saved data.

If the demand is there, I can write a program that will dump any of the
data in the Universal Market Data server to disk.
