Craig,
One way to correct for having to use Weekly data on Data2 for the Elder
System is to use a 65 period Exp. Moving Average on the Daily data and get
rid of the Weekly data altogether. It gives basically the same signals as
the 13 period EXPMA on the Weekly Chart, but will signal sooner when the
trend reverses before Friday of any week-- as well as eliminate the problem
of the Weekly chart not updating properly when Friday is a Holiday.
I have also worked extensively with the Elder Triple Screen system -- please
contact me if you would like to compare notes.
