Gentlemen (and Ladies),
Long term subscribers to this list may have noticed that I no longer post as
often as I used to. The main reason for this is pressure of work. And the
main cause of this work pressure is the online trading system that my
company PATS Ltd.(Personal Automated Trading Systems) has been developing
over the last four years.
We have now reached the point where the system is starting to be used in
anger for the first time, but I thought I'd mention it now as a review of
the software recently appeared in the online futures magazine ADTrading.com.

To describe this review as glowing would be something of an understatement,
but we did not pay for it, nor did we even see it prior to publication.
Needless to say we're quite pleased.
Direct relevance to the Omega List ? Well, we're currently working on an
interface to TradeStation, which will allow TS not only to generate orders,
but also to have access to all the other information that PTS provides its
users, although I admit this is still some months away..... Q298???
The system is basically an "off the shelf" product aimed at the brokerage
company rather than the individual trader, but we do have plans to address
this "shortcoming" in the very near future.
We also have a website at http://www.patsystems.com although it's still not
quite finished.
I have made every effort to produce a product that I would want to use, and
am currently also working to provide ancilliary services to traders, which
we hope will be of real value....e.g. competitively priced online market
data and analysis.
I trust you will interpret this post as more of an "infomercial" than as a
blunt and unsubtle marketing ploy...I'm not trying to sell anyone anything
after all....well not directly !
