Free EOD data?

Dear Group,

The Jack Carl website provides free end of day data for the last 30 days
of futures contracts, which comes in handy when the Omega website is
down.

BUT, does anyone know of a place that provides free end of day data
(preferably today's data plus the last week or so) for stocks and stock
indices?
