The only way I got this to work in MS was to export the data to a spreadsheet, have it massage the data, then re-import.  One other change I made was to keep the modified files in a separate directory(s) and prefix the modified files symbols with "ha".  i.e. DJI now haDJI, SP5 now haSP5, etc.  That way they will not accidentally update with my daily downloads.  EOD files only.  No real-time
 
Tried this for a while but it the HA style was not worth the effort for me.  Degraded my returns.  I prefer to use my understanding of actual candles.  Much better at representing the perception of what the market/security is going to do.

    I tried this formula but it never convert my chart to Heikin-Ashi candles patterns as shown in the web picture .Can someone drop a few lines to explain how can I get this fixed ( Notes --I got only 3 lines linking the usual MS candle patterns?
