Tom, I know the folks at OTA. Mike S is good. Thanks for the
suggestion anyway. Although I did not take their classes and don't
plan to, I attend their monthly meetings and was just there last
week for the Advanced TA traders meeting. Shared my Dynamic Hedge
system for swing trading that I have developed and been using for 3-
4 years with the group. I have been working on my Day Trading system
for over a year now using Metastock and Quote Center data after-
hours and weekends. I have my system and strategy ready, along with
trading plan in detail and just completed Week 2 of my ramp up.
Been to different classes, and read many, many books. I am now done
with more classes but will keep reading and learning. Have been
actively trading stocks and options to manage my own portfolio for
several years now, mostly on EOD but also some intraday. And been
working on getting ready for daytrading. It is time to produce.
Can't go to school and take classes all of one's life although it is
a lot of fun learning!
I would be interested in hearing from any other members of this
forum who actually day trade for a living, not part time day
traders. Are there any of you doing it successfully out there?
Unsuccessfully, if you are willing to admit?? Pitfalls? Successes
and challenges? Super gave an excellent long answer in the Metastock
Tips and Tricks forum. I hope he is wrong, however.
