Thanks for these encouraging reports.

 

Fortunately Roy is in a New Zeeland and not in a USA hospital where they tend to send patients home quickly whether they should stay in hospital for a few more days or not.

Roy had his surgery on Monday. He spent a couple of days in the ICU
and is in his regular room now. He's doing well so far.

He will be in the hospital for several more days at least. Hopefully
he will continue to progress, and they'll be more good news to report
later.
