Regarding your comment on smart men: The smartest traders I know make
the most money in down trends. There's and old trader's saying:
"Markets fall twice as fast as they go up." Most smart traders have
learned how to short markets and lick their chops in down markets.

Maybe you're a buy and hold guy? I don't know about how real men view
