Hello,
I hate to ask this, because I know what a pain it would be to create, but
does anybody have UK FTSE stocks sorted into sector/sub-sector categories?
It is possible to export groups of stocks by sector from Sharescope but
they appear to be using the old GICS classification system rather than the
current ICB classification as used by FTSE and Dow Jones. Any pointers
appreciated.
I gave a presentation last week that discussed identifying the
outperforming sectors in order to find outperforming stocks. Currently, the
top-performing FTSE sector is Basic Resources. Of the top ten performing
FTSE stocks during the previous week, six of them were in the Basic
Resources sector. Sector Rotation is a sound investment strategy that
works. Thanks to Super, Ron, Preston, etc. who have all posted great input
on this technique over the years.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Kevin
