Interesting comments,  I have used the iPhone in Canada for about a year trading.  It is not ideal because of the size, however it works because it allows me to peel my butt from the computer.  I am now mobile...how many other can say that????

The comment about slower than a computer would be relative to the wireless (A, B, G or N)  used on the computer as G is the most common ...some time I notice when I am not using wireless N 300mbs ....I have had few issues with the speed of the wireless G, I am using it with a WRT350N router...

it has the STOCK icon - yahoo stock feeds.. (Great for the Canadian and US market updates)
because the iphone has a browser you can use any web page with the safari browser.

Summary .... I love it .. it has been the best tool to date after using Laptops through out the house and numberous PDA's  to get me away from sitting at the computer.   It has email alerts ... receive emails (8x) . and numerous free (1000) developed apps.

Sorry I can not provide all the Techie spec's.... but I'm sure  you can find that all over the internet.

Using an Iphone for internet communications is significantly slower that using a computer. This may improve in the future.

now is the next step that I want to know is there anyone using etrade

and it is secure and easy to use.
I want this whole thing to be very portable.
