Bls: [EquisMetaStock Group] Metastock works in Linux!

Dear All,

Few years ago there were a posting that Meta can not install and run in Virtual Private Server. Now afetr Chartmansg can run Meta using Linux,  can MetaStock install and run in Virtaul Private Server?

Hi there,

After much experimentation, I've finally managed to get Metastock to run smoothly on my Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 LTS desktop.

This is by using a virtualisation software called VirtualBox and it is free and open-sourced.

It seems to work fine on my old Intel Celeron 2.8 GHz CPU, with 512 MiB RAM and a 80 GiB hard disk. No additional hardware acceleration was used.

Now you can enjoy the benefits of using Linux and yet be able to use your favourite charing software.
