Not sure about the "nested" part because it's so long since I've seen a "circular reference". A circular reference error occurs when formula A references formula B and Formula B references Formula A. Each formula is in some way dependant on the other thus forming a loop that cannot be resolved.

Can anyone explain what kind of error is this?
