MS has always lagged in System Tester,Trade Sim seems to be a good alternative for MS users for Back Testing. One do not have to Learn much of TradeSim ,with the Gloval Variable function any exploration done in MS is being accessed by TradeSim & there one can Test to find out his/her systems Equity Curve with robust Monte Carlo simmulations, one do not have to know any other Language to write code other than msfl.
I use it & found to be best fit for MS users.

  Kees,

I did find the downloader files at Equis yesterday. Just do a search
  when you get there.

As far as rating a tester goes, I think it depends on what you need
and are willing to accept. Maybe others will offer some other
  opinions.
