While you are right that his focus is on long term trends using EOD 
data, he does touch on the use of his method by those with a shorter 
time frame. The use of the CBL and MCL are applicable to very early 
trend entry - with the accompanying risk that brings.

I believe of late (perhaps to sell more books)he has broadened the 
applicability of his "methds". Nothing like a new world of Forex 
traders to motivate revision of methodology.
