Thanks Preston.

I'm setting up the screens suggested by Hooper and Zalewski in
Covered Calls and Leaps- A Wealth Option. I'm not recommending it
that's for sure.

It may provide some added useful input to folks already doing covered
call writing. I should be able to create most of the info in the
$80/month service "soon" from free sources. The data for the screen
isn't terribly dynamic.

The method is quite successful in a flat to slightly up trending
market. A method for writing covered calls where you want to be
called out and where the risk of a major down turn is modest works
then.

I'm able to get most of the data needed from Zachs, do some massaging
in Excel, send a ticker list to MS where I can do some TA screening,
and wind up with a reasonably short list to do the option pricing
analysis on.

About 20 years ago there was a program running on a MAC
(Tickerwatcher now Investor RT) that could do this analysis across
the entire universe of optionable stocks. It also enabled you to
maintain a totally current list of optionable stocks. Of course that
was 20 years ago and things have "improved" so much you can't do it
now

I will check out Domash's site.

Regards,
Ron
