All of the technical indicators and line charts used in Metastock are
explained in detail (along with many mathematical formulas) in
"Technical Analysis from A to Z" by Steven Achelis, the founder of
Equis. You can buy it from most large book stores.
He also offers for sale a computer spreadsheet (Excel I assume) which
contains, according to the description "more than a hundred of the
indicators presented in this book". The spreadsheet can be purchased
at AtoZbook.com.
I have the book, and it is well done. I have never seen the
spreadsheet.
