  Say I have a compicated expression such as
  X:=(X>Y and A<B and C>=D);
  and want to know if it is true in any of the past 10 days.

  Could I code
  BarsSince(X) <= 10

  or must I code 
  (X or Ref(X,-1) or Ref(X,-2) or Ref(X,-3) or Ref(X,-4) 
  or Ref(X,-5) or Ref(X,-6) or Ref(X,-7) or Ref(X,-8)
  or Ref(X,-9) or Ref(X,-10))
