Hi Ross,
Another possibility is the MetaStockCSV plug-in. You can have up to 150
variables read from an external .csv format datafile. Each variable will
have its own "friendly" name and will look like ExtFml ( "csv.BySym",
advances). Thus you will will wind up with one MetaStock Custom Indicator
containing everything. To me, that is much less confusing particularly if
and when you want to modify your formula or variable values in the future.

To my knowledge 20 is the limit in any version.
To get around the problem reuse a variable name when possible.
You can also use the formula call variable to access another
indicator where another 20 variables may be stored.
