The formula for the three line break is complex and requires coding
outside of the MS formula language.
The charts are built into MS so you can look at any stock using the
three line break and put whatever indicators on it you want. However,
anything other than an MA may be distorted since the three line break
compresses time.
I never seen a dll for it. I guess no one wants to take the time to
program one when it's already built into MS.
In my experience the three line break isn't any better than any other
charting method. It has many drawbacks. A couple of guru's use the
three line break to pick their stocks and there track records are
pretty much average, so they're experts at three line break charts.
Whatever works for you. Good luck finding the dll.
