Hi Mohan
What you say is not correct. Installing an older version of MetaStock to the same folder as a newer version will overwrite many files and probably not be able to open the DTA files resident in the same folder. When upgrading to a newer version this is fine but certainly not recommended when installing a copy of an older version.
In the same drive? Yes. In the same folder? No.
Regards
Roy

Samuel,
Yes, install in a seperate folder.
I have it on my original hard drive which I now use as a slave and a
newer version on my current drive. Haven't noted any problems.

However, I'm not sure if they will conflict with each other. (because
I'd like to keep both of them in the same computer.) Does it mean
that I just need to install the MS8 pro in a seperate folder during
it's installation? Anything that I need to be aware of?
