Hi,
I've used Metastock 8 and 9 successfully under various Linux
distributions without any major problems. If you install Wine or
CrossOver (www.codeweavers.com which uses wine as it's underlying
technology) you'll be fine for the main Metastock app, the downloader
and explorer at least. I can't recall if I had any problems per se.
Just ensure that you get the most recent copy of Wine.
