Thanks for that suggestion but it still failed (at least I found the
downloader needed resetting...). However I now have another possible
cause for the error - 7.2 can only cope with 2000 securities per
folder. My programme crashes when I load the AIM shares of which
there are just over 1800 so should not be a problem. However looking
at the folder I find there are many gaps in the sequential numbering
of the securities so that the maximum figure reached is F2488.mwd.
Could it be that this figure, being over 2,000, causes the crash?
How are the securities allotted an F number? Why the gaps?
