If you simply want to find the multiple it's easy

 

Sqrt(5)/1.618

 

If you are trying to use modular arithmetic it wont work in this manner.
Modular arithmetic requires that the modulus  (basis) be a whole number. For
example our numbering system is modulus 10, computers use modulus 2.

 

If you can post some details of what you are actually trying to do I might
be able to suggest something.
