Lopez,
I just checked to make sure and I was capable of displaying 8 years
of daily data. If you want to look at a chart with another
periodicity then right click on the date display and choose either
daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
Should you adjust the lookback periods for a longer view? Your
choice. How should you do this? As I mentioned there are 5 trading
days in a week. Some people like fibonacci numbers and choose those.
You're likely to see 14 and 28 used a good bit. Doesn't mean they
are the gold standard, just that someone likes them. For a year you
could choose 250 periods. One thing that you should realize when
adjusting the lookback periods is that your indicators will no
longer be as sensitive as they once were.
If I can be of anymore assistance just let me know,
Preston
BTW: Have you read the manual or formula primer?

I know that I have to take a look at the graph at the weekly
periodicity. How many days periods should I use if I want to see a
stock expressed in a weekly periodicity?

put 9 days period. Do I have to still put 9 days period if I want to
see the trend of the stock of the last 5 years?
