Thanks again for the additional information. One of the problems with rounded numbers is where a system might use an ADX "burst" >=1. Chande mentions one such approach in Beyond Technical Analysis. A rounded ADX value from MetaStock can signal a "burst" of 1 when the real change is anywhere between approximately 0.01 and 1.99 (or possibly even higher for some combinations of non-rounded PDI and MDI).

  deliberately rounded to whole numbers. If you want to use the ADX as a major
