Eric,

If you are talking about the website then they are book resellers. 

If you are talking about the actual study it is a level of technical 
analysis above basic. Think of basic TA as the information you would 
get from a single indicator...buy, sell, overbought, oversold. 

Advanced TA would include the interaction of other or several 
indicators in conjunction with the indicator used for a basic study... 
things like elliott waves and divergence.
