There is no direct translation from Amibroker to Metastock. If you
understand what the Amibroker code is doing, you might be able to write
equivalent Metastock code.

Could you tell me a bit more about this book, please? I cannot find any
review on it, and on the address you have provided, it is stated that the
codes used are for Amibroker, while I use Metastock only; is there such a
big difference between MS and Amibroker on coding issues? Were you able to
translate one code into another? Thanks.
Eduardo.

You might try the book "Quantitative Trading Systems" by Dr. Howard

personality and pockets? For example, you might try backtesting a
break-out strategy on some stocks, and a mechanical systems on those
which are less volatile.

hard to follow, you need some discipline to trade them - forget that
rubbish about removing the emotion out of trading, to remove emotions

capital shrinking due to the drawdown because the market is going
through a period for which the system is not suited, and you'll know
what I mean!

backtested and paper traded.
