[EquisMetaStock Group] Metstock "favorites" form EXcel or ASCII lists

Hi,

Can any Metastock colleagues help with this one, please....

Creating "Favorites" lists of stocks is easy if only a small number of stocks are involved, but I have several lists, each with a large number of items that makes it impractical to select each stock chart
individually and then use the "Add to Favorites" feature. I have the
required "favorites" symbol lists in Excel & ASCII
files, and I would like to set up new Favorites folders populated with the items from these lists. How do I do this ?

I see in the Metastock manual
(Version 9.1 EOD, May 2005, page 61) there is a section entitled
"Creating Custom Symbol Lists for the Symbol Database". That is NOT
what I am trying to do, but there is probably some similarity. However I
haven't figured out where the "Favorites" lists are located,
nor how to get my various (Excel or ASCII) lists of
"Favorites" in there.

Hoping for some advice,
best regards, from
TonyM in Moscow
