[EquisMetaStock Group] Total Number of results in an Exploration

Is there anyone that can show me how to write a formula that will 
display or show the total number of results (stocks)in an exploration.
I'm trying to insert a formula in one of the exploration columes (A B C 
D or E) that will display the "number of results" for the exploration 
criteria without having to physicaly count the number of results.
For example: I'm trying to determine the number or percentage of stocks 
that closed higher...the number or percentage of stocks that closed 
lower...or the number or percentage of stocks unchanged in a particular 
group of stocks used in an exploration.
