John, congratulations on creating synthetic data, I couldn't tell the
difference from your charts.
Metastock will chart any data as long as the date matches.
A few years ago, somebody created a synthetic set of data to prove
some indicators wrong, his mistake came in the tick data time stamp.
If you were to look at a daily chart of one stock and then compare it
to the weekly chart, they wouldn't look the same.
If you were to trade the daily chart with a "Daily system and now
trade the weekly chart with the same "Daily system" you will get very
different results.
All software data comes with the following data arrays
Open, High, Low, Close,Volume and if you trade commodities open
interest.
Another set of Data Arrays are provided from the Markets:new
highs,new lows,advancing issues, declining issues, unchanged, along
with advancing volume, declining volume, vix and so forth.
You can create spreads and trade them.
It is up to the individual trader as to how to interpret the
indicators he has created for the selected chart that he is trading
