[EquisMetaStock Group] help in writing an explorer

Hi,    
	Is it possible in Metastock to explore for
 stocks that are frequently moving in a cycle (going up and down
 frequently, say by, 5% to 10%).
                             
        Is it also possible to look back, say for 6 months,
 and select the stocks on the basis of the price movement
 since that date?
	
	I would be thankful for any help in writing the above 
exploration.
