Apologies if I gave the wrong impression about MetaStock.
My only disappointment with MetaStock comes from the current lack of
development and vision from Equis/Reuters - the team there seems to
be on dead water at the moment.
MetaStock is not the latest rocket science, but it is the most
(personally) productive charting & system development tool that I
know of. It's very rare nowadays for me to use other tools for
system development.
The more I get to know MetaStock (and other tools), the more I
appreciate its fine balance of power and simplicity.
As for any MetaStock plugin suggestions, one would first need to
define a broad (and personal) trading strategy, and only then go
looking for the tools to make the task easier. Doing it the other
way around often leads to disappointment, whether its building a
personal trading strategy or building a house.
I often get asked if the MACDH/All-In-One Divergence kit is a good
trading system, and how it fares in backtesting, etc. I tend to
discourage potential buyers of this nature, and usually reply that
the kit is just another (albeit powerful) trading tool and not a
complete trading strategy on its own.

However, every fourth or fifth kit information request comes from
traders who understand and use divergence within their trading, and
are looking for a tool to augment and compliment their existing
strategy.

This is a very good way to look at all trading tools, including
MetaStock.
