Agree! Just looking at analysts opinions such as Zacks, I can get 2 
different numbers for the same company. One is weighted the other is 
not. What we're dealing with is accountant's values that are not 
standardized...although they are trying. As johndoetrader suggest we 
can screen first and then export those candidates into Metastock for 
TA. I can do this with MSmoney's screener and it can be done with 
others as well if they are exportable.

As we get deeper into value investing fundamental is going to become 
more of a standard. I think we've probably refined TA well enough. 
Its now time to do the same with fundamentals. Should be exciting!
