I agree-Walt's tools are good. Unfortunately there are so many that it is easy to get overwhelmed by them and sometimes difficult to know which to use in which market condition.
I used to use his his stand-alone program and found it more straightforward than his MS add-on.
All that being said-Jose' MACD Indiacator is still the gold standard-and simple! One indiacator fits all markets!!

  Hello

I use Profit Trader in my Metastock, both in Real Time as well
as EOD data. I find it of great use. One needs to understand the
methodology behind it to appreciate it. The website has a great free
tutorial where if you take the time to go thru, I feel will
appreciate it. What I do is create a template and attach the Experts
in the template. When I get the signals via the Experts, I am able
to see the technicals as well and understand why certain signals
appear. They will send you an permanent unlock key after the 30 day
free trial should you wish to make a complete purchase.
  Hope this helps
