Hello Harold
What I suggest is that you create only one indicator. For each time zone, specify a variable, assign that variable as 1 if it is true, and add all the variables up. If you have MS 7 or over, you can just colour them individually to distinguish the changeover. Specify the Asian changeover time of 24:00 in the same manner.
Plot as histogram.
Wherever there is an overlap between two time zones, it would plot as 2.
Simple I think.

Subject: [EquisMetaStock Group] Re: Highlight Specific Time Periods?
Hey guys,
I don't think the Expert Ribbon will work for my purposes because I
want to have all 3 market sessions (US, European, Asian) and their
overlaps marked (and I'd rather not highlight the actual price bars).
So what I've done so far is make 3 indicators using Jose's indicator
formula. I graph them all in a bottom pane as a histogram w/the
thickest bars. The European is from 2am to 8am, color yellow, the US
is 12pm to 5pm, color red, the Overlap of those 2 mkts from 8am to
12pm, colored white.
Whaddya'll think, is this probably the best way, or is there a simpler
solution?
Also, when I try to graph the Asian session, from 19 (7pm) to 4 (4am)
it doesn't work. Is there a way to do that?
Thanks much,
Harold
