If you want to do relative strength the way O'Neil and others do it,
you should look at the external relative strength which compares every
stock to every other stock in your universe for strength rather than
to an index.
DeBry has a plug-in that does everything for you.

If you want to compare only the stocks in the S&P 500, compares each
one to every other one and ranks them from 1 to 100 so you can back
test the ERS, etc. The package does a lot of other useful stuff like
creating custom indexes, etc.
