I am trying to create a indicator to calculate the number of bars which
intersect a internal trendline but with no success. Basically the idea is
this, draw a linear regression line over the past latest 30 bars, sum up the
numbers of bars which cross the linear regression line and finally use the
total number of corssing bars divided by 30. Anyone can shed light on this
calculation?
