If you have MetaStock Pro (or EOD v8.01 and up), you can use the
Security() function for this purpose:
chart:=Close;
index:=Security("GLD",C);
chart/index
You may also be interested in the URSC tool-kit, which compares charts
automatically to a standard/custom index, using correct percentage-
based RSC:
